Fire Syrup Spicy Grilled Peaches
Share
Sweet heat has never tasted this good.
This recipe is simple, bold, and unapologetically indulgent — the type of dessert that proves fruit can bring the fire. Here’s how to turn fresh peaches into a caramel‑kissed, spicy treat with just a few ingredients and your grill.
Ingredients
-
6 fresh peaches (or any stone fruit), halved and pitted
-
¼ cup Fire Syrup
-
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)
-
Optional: mint leaves or crushed nuts for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat the grill (or grill pan).
Use low, indirect heat — we want caramelization without burning. -
Prep the peaches.
Pat each half dry with a paper towel. Drizzle the cut side with Fire Syrup, letting it pool slightly in the center. -
Grill, lid closed, for about 10 minutes.
Keep an eye on them — you’re looking for softened flesh and gentle caramelization, not char. -
Check and rotate.
If one side is cooking faster, shift it — remove each peach once it’s tender and juicy (this will be between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on fruit ripeness and grill heat). -
Serve warm with ice cream.
Place your grilled peaches cut-side-up, scoop vanilla ice cream beside or on top, and drizzle more Fire Syrup over everything. Add mint or nuts if you want texture and brightness.
Pro Tips & Variations
-
Use ripe but firm peaches for best results — too soft and they’ll fall apart on the grill.
-
Don’t over-syrup before grilling — a little goes a long way. You can always add more after cooking.
-
Try grilled pineapple or plums the same way for a twist.
-
Add a pinch of cinnamon or crushed allspice over the peaches before grilling for extra depth.
-
Serve with crunchy nuts, crispy prosciutto, or a splash of aged rum to level up your game.
